ImageTech offers thousands of customers a One-Stop Shop providing 1) a broad line of digital office imaging solutions including the sale and service of copiers, fax machines and printers, 2) video conferencing and other electronic presentation systems, and 3) network integration and management services.
We are seeking an IT Manager to lead the Information Technology Department.This individual will be responsible for all IT systems and timely support of end users. She/He will work closely with the controller and company leadership to ensure that information technology resources are aligned with company objectives
Provides hands on implementation and execution of the Information Technology systems for the business across various software and hardware platforms. They include Microsoft (file and print servers, Exchange, SQL), Cisco, Linux/SCO and other packaged software and industry specific applications
Keeps computer equipment, hardware,software, mobile, and desktop environments updated and in compliance to meet organizational needs.
Supports and leads information technology projects
Implements and maintains effective backup systems to ensure the integrity of all business critical data and functionality.
Maintain, monitor, analyze system components in order to offer recommendations on system security, network, and computer utilization
Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems in order to ensure maximum up-time of windows servers, desktops, and laptops.
Propose and install new software releases, system upgrades and security patches
Gather, analyze and correct performance related issues
Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation and inventory assessment
Support Antivirus and Spam Enterprise Solutions
Be responsible for managing systems to meet department and company strategic goals
Assist in Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Planning
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT leadership position showing career advancement
The ability to partner successfully with team members in different locations.
Bachelors degree (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess outstanding leadership skills.
Ability to adapt to and thrive in a high growth environment.
Technical skills: demonstrated knowledge operating systems including Windows, Linux, basic network security, e-mail (Exchange), databases (SQL), SAN/NAS, and software running on various platforms.
Experience in application optimization on various platforms.
Symantec Anti-virus administration or similar experience
Strong understanding of all aspects of Microsoft networking principles
Clear understanding of enterprise security policies
Working experience with backup solutions
Travel to branch locations
Experience in working with small/midsize IT environments
Knowledge of Printer/Copier Industry
Up to date certifications in on or more of the following technologiesMicrosoft, VMware
Knowledge of SOX and PCI compliance obligations.
Familiarization with supporting mobile devices
Familiar with supporting Cisco switches/routers
Possesses strong interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must demonstrate ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
